Description
First point of contact with service users and key stakeholders:
- Make a difference by supporting our service users and professional referrers to access food bank provision and crisis funding
- Help people move on from food bank reliance by working with organisations offering support to those in food poverty and financial hardship
- Communicate our impact use reporting data and content generation to highlight the work of the charity within the community
HR admin and training:
- Help build our volunteer team by leading our volunteer recruitment process and onboarding our new recruits
- Work with our Service Manager to get our team trained, and uptospeed through our induction and development process
- Supporting the implementation of Ambassadors and Lead Volunteers within the charity
Policy, process and governance support:
- Learn about charity governance and work with our CEO to ensure that our Board & Committee Meetings run smoothly
- Coordinate policy reviews to keep us working safely and to our best potential as an organisation
- Help us communicate our policies and procedures internally keep our staff and volunteer team informed and on the right path
Project implementation and reporting:
- Scope and coordinate projects which help us work efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our stakeholders
- Learn about the importance of charity fundraising and support the implementation of grant funded activities within our charity
General administrative duties - be prepared to "get stuck in" as no two days are the same
- You will join a positive and proactive team who simply roll up their sleeves and get on with things
- Like all of the team, your role could involve any number of basic administrative tasks from managing diaries, writing letters to organizing quotes.
- We can't promise excitement all the way but we can guarantee that you will join a purposeled team of people who don't let the mundane get in the way of supporting those most vulnerable in our community.
Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
