Description
My client is looking for us to supply them with Support Workers for a
permanent position not temporary. The work will be in a residential and/or nursing/care home.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support and assistance to individuals in a care setting
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with individuals
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in dementia care or senior care
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
  • Familiarity with medication administration procedures
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
  • Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals in a nursing home setting

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£9.10-£14.41 per hour


Expected hours:

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
