School Outreach Worker
Are you an experienced teacher who would be keen to take on a different role where you will still work closely with students and schools but not need to teach (or plan, or mark, or manage list goes on)?

Would you be keen to work with children at risk from exclusion from mainstream schooling and help them back to enjoying their education?


Outreach Worker role - suitable for all qualified and experienced teachers

1 year temporary to permanent contract

Rewarding role where you will be able to support students and schools

The Outreach Worker role:


Working with a highly successful SEN School you will work a location within Leicester and Leicestershire where you will work with students, their families and schools in order to support them through a difficult part of their life with the end goal beingto keep them in mainstream education.

This is a highly rewarding role that suits teachers who still have that passion for education and watching young people achieve but are keen on some time out of the day to rigours of class teaching


Requirements for this post:


  • Qualified Teacher status and recent teaching experience in any key stage
  • A passion for supporting disaffected students and helping them to find enjoyment in education
