Description

We believe your unique skills and experience will enhance what we are able to offer to children and young people experiencing distress.

We are hoping for a psychoanalytic approach to team thinking, an ability to creatively engage and work with individuals with severe or entrenched difficulties, and leadership and supervision of colleagues


You will be provided with ongoing supervision from a more senior child and adolescent psychotherapist to help you engage in self-reflection, seek and respond to feedback, and develop your professional knowledge and skills.


Liverpool Fresh CAMHS is a large multi-disciplinary team which includes consultant psychiatry, psychotherapy, clinical psychology, social work, occupational therapy, and new psychological professions.

We provide assessment and evidence-based interventions, consultation with professionals and systems around the child, and training.

We encourage special interests in areas of work including children in care, children with a learning disability and early years.

This will be paid in two parts, £250 in first month pay on commencement in post, and £750 on completion of six months.

Accommodation

Alder Hey will support the cost of accommodation for up to 3 months from the date of employment (up to £500 per month)

The cost is to be paid by the staff member and reclaimed as expenses.
