Description
A global Oil & Gas business, who specialise in hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control systems, are looking to hire an experienced Project Engineer on a full time, permanent basis.
As Project Engineer, you'll have full responsibility for the technical aspects of various projects, ensuring each are completed within budget and on time.
Responsibilities of the Project Engineer are:
- Manage project activities to achieve agreed project milestones
- Carry out the design and engineering of hydraulic / pneumatic systems
- Ensure project schedules are met and prepare monthly project progress reports.
- Ensure technical and commercial project specifications are available to all personnel involved in the project
- Ensure all technical design information is made available to the CAD Design Office and E&I Engineers
- Ensure the procurement of components, materials and services
- Carry out technical evaluation of projects
- Supervise equipment design process
- Supervise fabrication and assembly of the equipment
- Prepare equipment test programmes
- Maintain project cash flow
- Ensure quality management system and design procedures are followed
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, cost and labour estimates
- Experience in the design of Hydraulic / Pneumatic / Electrical equipment
- Proven Project Management/Engineering background
- Qualification in relevant Engineering discipline
