Job Summary:
To provide accurate, timely and complete clinically coded data for all specialties of the Trust. To assist the trainee coders, clinicians, and managers to improve knowledge of clinical coding and related topics. To provide assurance of the accuracy and completeness of clinical coding.


To assist in the development and implementation of policy and systems to ensure a clinical coding service which meets best practice guidance.

To provide expert knowledge in the use of clinical coding classifications and associated systems.
