ELFT are looking to recruit to a key role in our Peer Support Worker expansion.


We are looking for someone with lived experience of a long-term condition and extensive Peer Support Worker experience to lead our training offer.

They will work closely with the PSW Professional Lead and Director of People Participation.


It would be vital that the Post Holder has direct lived experience and also considerable experience of delivering Peer Support Work.

Applicants without this will not be considered for the role.

Peer Support Work will be a key element in the Trust's successful delivery of services. We aim to be undisputed leaders in Peer Support Work.

This post will be key to that aim. It will be lead for ELFT's Peer Support training programme. The Post Holder will work towards the development of Peer Support training.

The Post Holder will lead on the training of Peer Support Workers.

Peer Support Work is delivered by people with direct lived experience who are trained to work within our organisation. They work with individuals (via a caseload) utilising their lived experience and training to support and engage service users.
