Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations and Project Delivery to lead and oversee all operational aspects and project delivery within The FPS Group.


This role involves managing our involvement in the Environment Agency's Property Flood Resilience Framework and other key projects, ensuring exemplary delivery standards.

You will work closely with, and support, the Company Director, while leading and coordinating our highly qualified team of flood risk consultants and surveyors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the overall operations and project delivery for FPS Environmental Ltd and Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
  • Function as the Framework Manager for the Environment Agency's Property Flood Resilience Framework.
  • Ensure the highest level of service and advice is continuously delivered to our extensive client base.
  • Lead and support operational planning, project execution, and team management.
  • Collaborate with the Company Director in strategic planning and business development.
  • Opportunity identification and bid writing, leveraging our expertise to secure new projects and collaborations.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's reputation as a leader in the flood risk management sector.
  • Help lead a diverse team of surveyors and consultants across the U.K., alongside our Principal Flood Risk Consultant, ensuring optimal productivity and cohesion.
  • Implement and monitor effective stock forecasting strategies to maintain supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and develop strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Manage and develop staff, ensuring a highperformance culture and continuous professional development.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service and advice for a broad client base.
  • Collaborate in strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
  • Opportunity identification and bid writing for new project acquisition.
  • Regularly review and optimise operational processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness, including assisting with ISO Standard implementation and actions.
  • Proven experience in operational management and project delivery, preferably in the environmental, water, or related sectors.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and teams efficiently.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing diverse teams, including remote workers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong client relationships.
  • A passion for environmental issues, particularly flood risk management.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant professional qualifications are highly desirable.

£44,000.00-£54,000.00 per year
