Job overview:


This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Health or Counselling Psychologist to join the Clinical Psychology Service in Children's service at Cornwall Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a band 7 or 8a Psychologist, depending on experience, to join our growing psychology team within Cornwall Children's Services.

The vacancy is to work alongside the children's community nursing team in Cornwall delivering a service to children, young people with complex and life limiting conditions and their families.

You will be working with a highly skilled and dedicated nursing team to help support and meet the needs of the Children, young people, and families.

As a psychologist you will be working with an enthusiastic and skilled team of psychologists in the Children's health, learning disability and neurodevelopmental Teams.


Main duties of the job:

You will part of an innovative and supportive Psychology and Children's Health team dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care.

Opportunities for training and Specialist Supervision, as well as time for audit, research and supervision will be important aspects of this role.

The work will be an interesting balance of working with teams and staff groups, families and also children and young people directly.


As either a clinical, health or community psychologist you will be providing a service to clients and their families within the Children's Community Nursing (CCN) Service, with a diagnosis of life limiting condition, and to staff within the team.
