We are looking for someone who is ideally - IT Literate - proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook, has excellent Administration and Customer Service skills; someone who is not scared to go the extra mile and able to work under pressure, as this is a very busy role.


Our Assistant Hire Controllers work alongside the Hire Controllers who are the heart of the Depot, and the ones who make it all happen.

About The Role

Role overview:


As Assistant Hire Controller the suitable Applicant will support the Depot Team in all aspects of the day to day running of the Hire Depot.

To always demonstrate excellent Customer Service and ensure Administration processes are both accurate and timely.

  • Provide first class Customer Service.
  • Preparation/ prepare Hire Contracts, Quotations, and any other necessary correspondence through MCS-RM system.
  • Handle enquiries and source new business.
  • Record enquiries and source of enquiries.
  • Follow up Quotations and enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records.
  • Any other relevant tasks as and when required by your Line Manager.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures including adherence to all H & S policies.
  • Awareness of Company KPI targets for the Depot, assist in achieving and exceeding.


The Assistant Hire Controller is directly responsible to the Depot Manager, to whom he/ she will report although he/ she may be directly mentored by the Hire Controller or Senior Member of the Depot Staff.
