JOB DESCRIPTION:
When appointed Bilfinger Salamis' fabric Maintenance coordinator you will assume all front-line management and supervision responsibilities for the safe, efficient and effective execution of all offshore work scopes.
Ensuring that key interfaces between Bilfinger and Client's offshore management are developed and maintained to encourage effective working relationships and to provide efficient, cost effective support for all platform service.
Position will involve a period where you will be based in Bilfinger /BP office prior to offshore scopes commencing on a hybrid working agreement due to commence end Feb / Beginning MarchTASKS ONSHORE:
- Assist in development of Work Instructions for planned offshore scopes.
- Provide accurate and detailed estimates for offshore work scopes along with an outlined methodology for each activity.
- Define plant/ Equipment/ materials for individual scopes.
- Participate in readiness reviews to meet gate criteria.
- Offshore surveys
TASKS OFFSHORE:
- Organise all Fabric Maintenance activities in an effective manner, Ensuring KPI targets are met.
- Ensure customer enquiries and requests are followed up in a timely manner and that any anticipated shortfalls are promptly identified.
- Report work scope progress, operational difficulties, commercial variations and drive the management of change as appropriate.
- Align the Fabric Maintenance team's goals to Client/Bilfinger Salamis business drivers, whilst promoting a high standard of workmanship from the Fabric Maintenance team and those under your remit.
- Promote a high standard of workmanship from the team by utilising technical support from onshore/offshore discipline representatives.
- Effectively organising and planning all Bilfinger Salamis activities in the most effective manner, ensuring that all risks are identified and minimised to ALARP.
- Conduct regular worksite audits on Bilfinger Salamis activities.
- Adopt safe working practices and promote the client and Bilfinger Salamis safety cultures.
- Inform platform and contractor management of all incidents, accidents and near misses as they occur and ensure that all relevant documentation is completed timeously.
- Ensure that the most efficient utilisation of Plant, Equipment and materials result in meeting performance targets.
- Complete all admin functions associated with role (Daily Reports / Time Writing/ HSEQ).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- BOSIET, MIST, OGUK Medical
- Broad knowledge of management reporting requirements, offshore safety systems/procedures
- Relevant Coating Inspection certification, NACE, ICCOR
- Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills that will contribute to the safety culture of the asset team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, Outlook)
