  • This is an exciting opportunity for registered mental health, child nurses and midwives to join an established team of examiners representing all fields of Nursing and Midwifery working in the Oxford Brookes University test of Competence Centre. We offer flexible full and part time working opportunities and weekend working if desired. You will have a full induction and training programme and as a member of Oxford Brookes University staff you will have access to the benefits provided to Brookes employees. The contract will initially be until February 2025 with a likely extension.

Test of Competence is approved to be conducted in three universities in the UK.

These are Oxford Brookes University, Ulster University and the University of Northampton.- The approved Test Centre provides Part two of the NMC's Test of Competence for international nurses and midwives seeking registration with the NMC.

Part two is a nursing or midwifery Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).- The Test Centre is one unit operating over two sites.

We have one centre in Oxford on the Marston road campus and a second test centre at the Swindon campus.

We currently run OSCES Monday-Friday in Swindon and Monday-Friday in Oxford.-
