Description

We are looking for resourceful, innovative individuals who are able to predominantly lone work, to join our team as a Residential Care Officer Level 1.

You will be passionate about ensuring every young person is afforded the support and guidance needed prior to their next step towards independent living.

You will be deeply committed to helping young people across the county to achieve positive outcomes.


Lincolnshire County Council recognises the need for young people who are looked after to have the opportunity to experience independent living in an environment which allows them to develop new skills in a supported manner.


About the home
Rowston close Gainsborough provides supported living accommodation for young people who are looked after by Lincolnshire County Council. The accommodation comprises of two semi-detached houses.

The houses allows for up to five young people to reside, providing an independence programme for a period of up to 2 year or until their 18th birthday.

All residents are aged between sixteen and eighteen and are looked after.

About the role


Residential Care Officers are required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and a shift pattern of predominantly lone working, including nights, bank holidays and weekends.
