To support the Head of Service EYFS in the delivery of exceptional provision, showing best practice and assist in the training of colleagues.

Requirements:
We are looking for an EYFS Higher Level Teaching Assistant who: -

• Extensive and current knowledge of EYFS requirements, policy and legislation
• Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS curriculum.
• Evidence of effective management strategies to lead EYFS teaching assistants
• Have a real passion and drive for working with and educating children
• Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice
• Hold a relevant level 3 childcare qualification
• Able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• Good Maths, English and ICT skills
• Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Use own initiative and organise the daytoday management of nursery room routines
• Skilled in supporting children's learning, including pupils with SEND
• Has a desire to progress professional development and skills and to participate in nursery and Trust CPD opportunities
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures
• Believe in building strong Parent Partnerships to provide cohesive learning to children
• Is willing to travel to other school sites as required

Qualifications:

Level 3 in Early Years Childcare
Grade C/4+ Maths and English;
Has a good level of computer literacy;
Paediatric First Aid (preferable)
