Job summary:

Do you want to work for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and play a key role in keeping our country safe through caring for the Defence estate and those that depend on it? DIO manages the Defence estate, one of the UK's largest and most diverse property portfolios, enabling the armed forces and Defence civilians to live, work, train and deploy.

From net carbon-zero accommodation to runways for the F35 fighter jets, our outputs are unique in the UK and across the globe

Job description:

The JSP850 team operates within the Infrastructure Policy and Standards (IP&S) team, which sits within the Estate Strategy directorate.

The JSP850 team manages a programme of production, co-ordination, review and publication of Infrastructure Standards and Guidance, aligned to Defence policy and priorities.

The team leads on maintaining the currency and quality of published Standards and Guidance within JSP850, which forms the authoritative framework for all infrastructure-related activity on the MOD estate in the UK and overseas.

As a key member of the JSP850 team, this role provides an exciting opportunity to support the efficient and effective delivery of MOD's infrastructure strategy and ensure compliance with Government policy.

You will provide a knowledge and information management support function to assure the quality of content published within JSP850. You will also provide a programme support function for the team, essential to maintain team outputs.

We are a friendly and inclusive team, and we understand that it takes a little while to feel confident in a new job.

We will support you to develop your skills and experience within this role.

You will have the opportunity (if you wish) for professional growth in the policy development and project management specialisms, as well as lots of other opportunities to learn and develop.

Please feel free to give us a call and we can share a job description, elaborate on what we do, and show how passionate we are about our work.
