We are currently recruiting for Professional Carers with experience supporting individuals with complex needs within the comfort of their own homes.


Our client who is situated in the beautiful area of GL9, requires on going support with cover each day 08:00 to 20.00 and each night being 20: Our client is tetraplegic due to a spinal stroke & has Autonomic Dysreflexia.

Our client lives with his family within the beautiful Badminton Estate, surrounded by lovely countryside and beautiful views. The successful applicant must be relatively fit and enjoy walking with our client in his local surroundings.

Our client enjoys watching sport on the TV.

It is essential that you are easy to get on with and have a good sense of humour and enjoy being part of a team and to be able to fit in with family life.

Animals are a big part of our client's life so the ProfessionalCarer must be animal friendly as there are dogs and Horses in the vicinity.

Being able to drive our clients vehicle would be an advantage as there are appointments that need to be attended at times

We have regular days and nights available so the successful applicant would have a set work pattern with the option of covering extra duties for staff holidays and possible sickness cover


It is now a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK if you have lived outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 5 years.

This role will require:


  • Administering medication and documenting
  • Assisting with domestic duties, personal care, fluids and nutrition
  • Completing care report documents and recording fluids and bowel movements
  • Working in a team of 2 carers in the day and lone working at night
  • Being proactive and engaging in the role

Required experience:


  • Previous experience as a paid Professional Carer
  • Previous experience supporting tetraplegic clients & or Autonomic Dysreflexia is an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be proactive in the role
  • Driver's license and access to own vehicle (preferred due to location)
  • Good professional and personal references
