Description
Comserv are looking to recruit a Labourer to work as part of our 2-man teams.

Our labourers work with our Groundworks, Drainage, Roofing & Rubbish collection teams, as well as helping with non-licensed asbestos removal following strict company and legal processes to remove materials containing asbestos from domestic properties.


This role involves all aspects of labouring work and can include manual handling, digging and working at height from scaffolds, towers, ladders etc up to four floors.


  • SR100 / SR900 Mask Respirator (If you have facial hair, you will need to be clean shaven)
  • Protective suit
  • Gloves
  • Goggles
  • Steel toe capped Boots
You will also be asked to follow strict Covid safety rules.

The ideal person will be able to display the following:

  • Must follow the correct processes which requires a good standard of reading and writing to be able to follow method statements and write up job records.
  • Previous experience working within social housing contracts or undertaking
- domestic repairs, ideally including non-licensed asbestos material removal

  • Able to work with other trades undertaking preparation works
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise accordingly
