At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.

The regular office hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 - 13:00 on a Friday.

However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.


Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.


Role:


Reporting to the Product Safety Section Manager, your role will be to work as part of a team responsible for co-ordinating Market Actions for Car, Motorcycle and Power Products (Safety Recall, Product Update, Delivery Stop, and Warranty Extension campaigns).

You will be involved in all stages with activities such as service bulletin issuance, monitoring, reporting and improvement of campaign performance with proactive action projects.


You will be required to present to a wide audience ranging from your peers to senior managers & Branch/ Distributor Management.

You will also need to be highly organised and able to create and manage action plans for multiple countries within the European region.

The role requires occasional travel within the UK and overseas.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Preparing and presenting information related to ongoing Market Action campaigns and Branch / Distributor performance for the Monthly Business Plan Review meetings.
  • Gathering and creating all necessary information to start market campaigns including, service bulletin creation, and completing warranty setup documents for all European, NATO, and Grey Import campaigns. Monitor ongoing campaign performance via frequent report analysis.
  • Carrying out market investigation to understand campaign performance in each Branch / Distributor (including Focus Branches), reporting findings. Recommend remedial action including discussion with branches and distributors where required.
  • Identifying, evaluating and implementing new and innovative customer contact and engagement techniques.
  • Collating Sales Country information for all new European Product Safety Campaigns and circulation accordingly.
  • Organise the biannual meetings (virtual and face to face) with Branches and Distributors to share current performance and best practice relating to PUD and Recall campaigns.
  • Providing support to Branch / Distributor for campaign or product enquiries for Car, Motorcycle, and Power Products.
  • Provide information and input into business plan objectives and targets.
  • Project manage activities, which may include working with an external supplier and/or other internal HME departments, making sure that any project remains within agreed time schedule and budget.
  • Gather and supply the information required for Honda Motor Technical Service Department (HM TSD) to manage funding for campaign improvement programs.
  • Managing the daytoday running of HME's Recall Portal and supporting the introduction of new systems and technologies.

Qualifications, skills and experience:


Required

  • Highly computer literate and numerate with the ability to work with large amounts of data to a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work as part of a team and to motivate yourself to work under your own initiative.
  • Able to build relationships within Honda and outside of the organisation. Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate and network with your peers and senior managers.
  • Customer focussed and able to present information in order to reflect market requirement.
  • Good organisation and administration skills.
  • Ability to travel as required, including overseas.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.

Desirable

  • Demonstrable experience of project management is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience or an interest in the automotive business would be beneficial.
  • Valid UK Driving licence.
