Description
You should possess FRCS or equivalent, have completed a Higher Specialist Training Programme in Trauma and Orthopaedics, or Plastic Surgery, and possess full GMC Registration with a license to practice and be eligible for entry on the GMC Specialist Register by one of the following routes:
  • Certification of Completion of Training (CCT) the proposed CCT must be within 6 months of the interview date If applying for Full GMC Registration & Licence to Practice simultaneously with a CESR application, supporting documentary evidence must be provided at interview, to confirm an application has been submitted & is under consideration by the GMC.
Nottingham University has a graduate-entry medical school on the Royal Derby Hospital campus which has greatly enhanced the teaching and research opportunities for medical staff. The Trust is committed to education and you will therefore be expected to participate in student and postgraduate teaching. Informal visits will only be arranged for short listed candidates.
