Job Summary


A Senior Designer on the Work Dynamics / Sale Enablement Design Center of Excellence team will assume a lead position for the design and development of materials to support client facing initiatives and sales enablement materials, with a focus on strategic communications and providing art direction to team.

Emphasis will be on designing documents, infographics, sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, and proposal material.

Position requires individual to work with and manage a variety of team contributors including graphic designers, graphics coordinators and various levels of management.

This role reports to the Sr. Director.

This role will partner with Sales and Pursuit team member, primarily from the EMEA team, understand the business objectives or requests, and deliver new and innovative sales support.

Work produced should be on brief, on time, on target to business objectives, and elevate JLL's presence with innovative and high levels of design aesthetic.

He/she must understand the strategy, audience, and objectives behind more complex design projects, provide appropriate solutions with mínimal art direction.

The senior designer may partner virtually with team members located around the world and must be comfortable with virtual working arrangements.

Leadership responsibilities will be assigned for specific areas depending on the person's expertise and career development goals.

What this job involves


Brainstorming:

Participates in and initiates client team discussion to help brainstorm key messages and provides thought leadership to the team to ensure message is easily conveyed.


Design:

Designs customized or JLL branded deliverables per client's needs, such as new graphic elements that visually capture the message to be conveyed in documents and presentations.


Presentations:
Designs sophisticated PowerPoint presentations that incorporate builds, transitions, hyperlinking and animations when appropriate.


Client Service:

Provides exceptional client service, meets own deadlines, and works to proactively identify issues that impact time service commitments for the team.


Management Collaboration:
Interacts with department management and senior leadership effectively and proactively.


Innovation:
Upholds and strives to innovate within brand standard guidelines and established operational procedures.


Procedure Development:
Identifies the need for, and assists in development/integration of, new standards, procedures and creative design tools and resources.


Project Ownership:
Takes on full ownership and day-to-day project management of assigned work.


Leadership:

Coaches other team members by providing art direction when required and supports the development of more junior designers by assisting with trouble-shooting, technical execution and creative conception.


Other Duties:
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Desired experience and technical skills
Bachelor's degree in Art or Design/Visual Communications

A minimum of 6 years' prior graphics experience, preferably in a corporate environment

Proven leadership in design and project management, along with demonstrated working knowledge of the business

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, etc., and the Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory

Exceptional communication skills to support professional exchanges in brainstorming sessions involving cross-functional and multi-level management teams

Works effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and consistently demonstrates a high level of organizational skill and customer service

Video editing and digital media experience and presentation animation skills are a plus.
