Senior Nursery Nurse

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

£20,146 - £21,628 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic senior nursery practitioner to join our nursery team at City College Nursery.

Applicants should be passionate about providing high quality early years provision for children to learn, develop and thrive.

You will need to show effective leadership skills to motivate a small team to always ensure the smooth running of the room.

All staff are qualified in childcare and have the opportunity to develop their professional skills.

City College Nursery opened in 1989 providing a high level of care and education for children aged between 12 weeks and 5 years.

We offer places to City College Norwich staff and students, as well as members of the wider community. Our Nursery is open from8am to 6pm so shifts will vary between these hours.

Applicants should hold a relevant Childcare Qualification at Level 3 or above and have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education.

We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Checkand to register with the DBS Update Service.

Please note:

From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issuedbefore this date.

Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
