Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5tonne vehicle and 3.5tonne vehicles to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial driving role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record including up to date CPC
- Knowledge of flatbed vehicles is a plus
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
The job is ideal for a semi-retired driver as the work load will be sporadic and will vary from multiple local runs on a day to longer routes on occasions.

Salary:
£10.55-£11.00 per hour
