An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Chest Clinic Outpatient team based at the at King Edward VII hospital, Windsor, which is part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Windsor is rich in cultural heritage with beautiful architecture and is just 30 miles west of London with excellent transport links.
We offer training for:
Venepuncture,
Spirometry
FeNo
Vital Sign Monitoring
Care Certificate Course (if not already completed)

You will be joining a proactive and supportive team who work closely with the Respiratory Consultants and team and pride themselves on their high quality care.
This post is to work on two fixed days:
Monday 8:30-17:30
Friday 8:30-17:30
You will be an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about patient care.
You will be primarily assisting the nursing team with care of the patients and will facilitate the smooth running of the ward.
Respiratory care also plays a big part of your role and additional training is available. You need to be driven and prepared to deliver high quality care and attention to detail at all times.

This vacancy is linked to a Level 2 Apprenticeship.This will support you to gain relevant knowledge, skills and experience that will help you achieve your potential in this role.
Working alongside the Trust's experienced staff you will be supported to gain the apprenticeship qualification and functional skills in Maths and English if required.
This is a great opportunity to gain a national recognised qualification while you are working and earning, which will support you in both this role and in your future career at Frimley Health.
You will not be required to undertake an apprenticeship if you have previously completed a relevant apprenticeship, NVQ or similar qualification.

Participate in the nursing care of patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and raise issues of concern to a qualified nurse.
Assist the Department staff in keeping the environment clean and tidy.
Always maintain respect and confidentiality.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation under the supervision of a registered nurse, raising issues of concern with a qualified nurse where appropriate.
To encourage and maintain good relationships with Medical Staff and other members of the Chest clinic team including Administration/Reception staff, Medical Secretaries Clinical Nurses Specialist Physiotherapists and Physiologists to provide the best care.
To complete and record investigations and observations as appropriate, reporting any abnormalities to a trained nurse and to the Clinician.
Chaperon patients as required e.g. when Physical examination required.
