Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Hand / Labourer / Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting daily production activities with manual hand grinding work of automotive front bumpers, post welding. This job requires someone to be physically able to carry repetitive work once shown. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience within a dynamic industrial setting. The successful candidate will be an active team player with a strong work ethic, eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our factory. Other duties will be shown e.g. operating a press.

Responsibilities

• Hand grinding automotive bumpers after welding. Labour intensive and repetive work. This is physically demanding.
• Help with packaging and other factory duties.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
• Support team members with general labour tasks to meet production targets

Requirements

• Previous experience in a factory or labouring role is advantageous
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable with a strong commitment to safety standards
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late shifts if necessary
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within an industrial setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
