The journey began in August 2017, when energy traders Michael Waldner and Luca Pedretti, together with software entrepreneur Florian Müller, set out to do their share in shaping the renewable energy transition.


They began to build a complete solution for renewable energy investors and operators with tools that would support the entire process: identifying opportunities and pricing energy sales contracts, executing, monitoring and managing renewable energy revenues and risks, contracts and complex portfolios in post subsidy markets.


The Role


As a Research & Commercial Associate at Pexapark, operating in the Enterprise team, you will be conducting thorough market research, tracking market movers and engaging with relevant external stakeholders that will generate quality leads for our enterprise software platform called PexaOS.

You'll play a crucial role in the software sales organisations helping to prospect, develop, and close opportunities for award-winning software that backs the investment and operations of leading investors in renewables.


This is an entry-level role, ideally suited for a recent graduate who is looking to build a career as a strategic research & commercial sales consultant (for enterprise clients) within the renewable energy space.

How will you help?

  • Perform research on prospective clients to map and analyse the target organisation for matching criteria to our ideal client profile (ICP) for our Enterprise software.
  • Account mapping with the identification of relevant champion of our Enterprise Software.
  • Liaise with relevant Pexapark stakeholder to understand internal touchpoints and design the outreach strategy in conjunction with the account executive
  • Stay updated into development of priorities account reporting weekly on their activities.
  • Synthesize large amounts of information in a concise and organised manner
  • Working with sales & marketing teams to organise events, target the right audience, follow
- up with nurturing and relevant material.

  • Networking with others in the industry, attending events, workshops and training sessions in order to continuously build up knowledge of the renewable energy space as well having good connections.

What you'll bring:

  • Ideally a recent graduate with a degree in Environmental Science, Energy engineering, Sustainability or similarly relevant.
  • Any internship or work experience would be a plus.
  • A driven attitude with a willingness to succeed and grow.
  • An aspiration of becoming an expert consultant within the renewable energy space.
  • An interest in enterprise & commercial sales, especially within the renewable energy space.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of accurately tracking data and making informed decisions using data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional proficiency in a European Language would be a plus.
  • A systematic, persistent, and challengeoriented approach to business.
  • A good sense of humour.
