Senior Digital PR Specialist

Take creative control of your own PR campaigns
We are looking for a Digital PR Specialist at midweight and senior levels.
You will work within Add People's Digital PR team, delivering next-level PR and link building strategies for a varied digital client base.
Where do you fit in?
You will have 1-2 years of experience in digital PR and outreach, preferably within an agency setting, driven by getting that next big placement with press outlets like The Times and Daily Mail, or on major websites like Forbes and Cosmopolitan.
You will have the attention to detail and creative spark to run these campaigns from their beginning to end, for small to medium-sized businesses of all industries.
On top of your main outreach duties, you will also perform other SEO-focused tasks for your clients, such as creating interesting blog content and tracking keyword performance.
At Add People, we work with you to create a structured development plan that supports your interests and helps you progress quickly.
This means this role is perfect for those who are confident in their Digital PR skills and looking to grow even further.
Typical Tasks
- Newsjacking and providing quotes to journalists in different industries
- Innovating processes for campaigns of varying sizes
- Analysing competitors and the media landscape for new opportunities to exceed expectations
- Analysing client performance and advising clients on strategy
- Supporting the learning of junior members of the team
- Opportunities to lead training for junior members of the team
Required Skills:
- 12 years Digital PR experience (preferably agency)
- Experience communicating with journalists and editors and generating consistent coverage
- Understanding of SEO and the value of link building in driving organic growth
- The ability to write both creative and noncreative (such as service and category page) copy
- Some experience working with CMS such as WordPress
Desired Skills
- Experience communicating the value of Digital PR work to clients and other stakeholders
- Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Buzzstream, Screaming Frog
- Evidence of relationship building with journalists and outlets
- Google Suite, Google Drive, Search Console, Analytics experience
