Our client is an established accountancy practice seeking an Accounts Assistant/Management Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team in Central Milton Keynes.

In the role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with turnovers of up to £1m, providing day-to-day support and advice as well as producing management accounts, project accounts, cash flow forecasting, payrolls, and much more.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with turnovers up to £1m, providing daytoday support and advice.
  • Produce management accounts, project accounts, cash flow forecasting, payrolls, and other related duties.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to gain a better understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to clients' businesses and provide advice accordingly.
  • Support clients with business planning and forecasting.
  • Liaise with other departments within the firm to ensure a seamless service for clients.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice ideally (although industry background will be considered)
  • AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or partqualified.
  • Strong management accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
