At Saint Gobain Interior Solutions (SGIS) we are looking for an Operations Coordinator to work within the 'Operational Excellence Team' our East Leake based engineering team
, to deliver a great level of administration support to our results driven team and internal/external stakeholders
.

The Operational Excellence Team is a team of 20 engineers that support improvement projects across all of the SGIS manufacturing sites in the UK.

Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand's and is a leading supplier of high performance drylining and insulation solutions that take care of people and the planet.

We do this with the expertise and know-how of British Gypsum, Celotex and Isover.

This role is available on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm however there is flexibility based on 8hrs/day.

What we're looking for:

Experience of working in a varied and fast paced Administration role ideally in an Engineering/manufacturingbased sector.
A good awareness of commercial aspects.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage tasks across a matrix organisation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
Strong Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Must be someone that is willing to learn and adapt new systems.

What you will be doing:

This role is a varied and exciting one where no 2 days are the same.

The below highlights some of the duties that you will carry out:

Preparing and placing orders on the required systems.
Updating business systems such as Excel, SAP and Peoplesoft.
Support with HR Administration and daily office admin.
Booking in training courses as well as meeting rooms as required
Supporting our World Class Manufacturing (WCM) functions.
There is the potential for occasional travel to different sites
Maintains departmental adherence with business controls
