Description
An opportunity has arisen within the Rotary department for a Pre Press operative. The role will encompass all elements of the department from print through to finishing.

The department currently includes a 2 x Mark Andy 8 colour flexographic print machines with the ability to include screen, laminating and foiling additions, an ABG SRI finishing machine.

Any required training will be provided.


Duties:


  • To support the prepress and Print department.
  • To mount flexographic printing plates, cutters to customer specifications as stated on the production ticket.
  • To monitor prepress consumables i.e. inks, mounting tape, solvents etc. and highlight any stock related issues to the Rotary manager, to support cover all areas of the production floor during meal breaks to ensure continuous production.
  • To liaise with the Rotary manager/foreman on a regular basis to ensure all customer requirements are met and to ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in full.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of a print production environment (Desired), Stock control experience, highly organised.

Salary:
£21,674.00-£24,960.00 per year
