About the Role
Are you an emergency planning professional, passionate about resilience and with experience of supporting the delivery of statutory emergency planning responsibilities? If so, this is the role for you


About the Person

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of Emergency Planning gained within a statutory or public sector context.
  • Is able to work collaboratively in a multiagency environment
  • Is highly motivated and capable
  • Thrives on variety, pace and challenge
  • Is a proactive and organised selfstarter, who can plan and prioritise their workload effectively
  • Has good knowledge of the Civil Contingencies Act and the response structures within which local authorities operate, particularly as these evolve and change
