_We are now looking for a Senior Manager (Cruise) to join our busy team in Dover_


The role will sit within our Commercial team as a Senior Manager (Cruise); you will be based out of our office in the Port of Dover but with large amounts of travel anticipated.

The role will design, develop, and deliver the Port of Dover's exciting growthstrategy through engagement with existing and prospecting of potential future customers, strengthening our proposition.


This role has significant scope for growth and progression and will be one of the most exciting opportunities in the sector.

Senior Manager (Cruise) Requirements:


  • Highly competent Business Development professional with experience in a relevant field, coupled with customer focus and experience of the Cruise industry in a port, cruise line, hospitality or related sectors
  • Commercial experience developing and implementing business plans and proposals in a highly dynamic environment
  • Relevant process and operational experience a bonus
  • Strong background in relationship management
  • Resilient and driven to exceed targets and creatively solve problems
  • Passionate about growth and innovation
  • Analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from market data
  • Financial awareness and preferably experience in managing budgets and P&L
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate (verbally and written) to varying stakeholders and seniorities
