We are recruiting for a temporary Customer Service Advisor for a prestigious Hitchin based organisation.

This to cover sickness within the team for up to 4 weeks.

Hours Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 17.00, Friday: 8.30am to 15.45.

This role is 100% office based in Hitchin.


A Customer Service Advisor is the key contact for the customer and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of customer service including order processing, quotation generation & follow up, delivery checks, technical enquiries and order expediting and delivering a world class level customer service to all internal and external customers.


Main Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor are:

  • Reviews customer enquiries working with external sales.
  • Processes customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • As required liaises with the various internal departments throughout the order process to ensure
- you can meet the delivery requirements of the customer.

  • Investigates customer concerns and records all relevant details on concerns database.
  • Other ad hoc duties when required.

Person Specification for Customer Service Advisor:

  • The ability to handle / manage customers professionally.
  • High level of drive to set the highest possible customer service levels.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate with people at all levels, both internally and externally
  • To be able to work using own initiative and be selfmotivated.
  • To be Flexible and a team player
