Transformation & Strategy Lead

As a Barclays Transformation & Strategy Lead, you'll be part of a newly established Data Strategy Team, collaborating with cross functional teams to develop and drive Data, AI/ML and Martech, underpinned by 360-degree view of the customer.

In this role you will shape the execution pathway and approach for the team by ensuring that plans consider customer, colleague and regulatory obligation costs, risk and values.

What will you be doing?:

Planning of complex programs, supporting triage and analyzing new demand for funding potential
Providing critical end to end planning and management for the agreed Data outcomes
Driving collaboration and continuous improvement culture across the team
Assessing progress of team vs goals and monitor key performance indicators to push improvement and transformation
Ensuring consistency of reporting, insights, processes and data across the stakeholder groups
Representing function on various governance forums and interactions with other Strategy and Planning individuals
Scoping and managing projects day to day
Managing key Stakeholders by which you organize, monitor and improve your relationships with them

What we're looking for:

Experience in planning technology strategic initiatives
Background and track record in change and/or transformation disciplines
Ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships
Exceptional presentation and communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

Familiar with key data, Martech & analytics building blocks within banking environment
Evidence of prior experience of strategy planning & largescale transformation projects
Outstanding capabilities in developing and delivering clear planning communications

Where will you be working?

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.

We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton.

Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
