Job Objective:

To undertake the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support the business.


To liaise with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, client and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
:

Compliance with Wood Supply Chain procedures

Control of materials and transfer between different work locations (e.g. module/pre-assembly yards/ fabricators)

Interfaces with suppliers, where appropriate to resolve material supply issues

Ensure inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts and stocktakes

Ensure all schedules and deadlines are adhered to

Coordinate deliveries with carriers.

Producing Shipping Documents for all material movements

Performing Goods Receipts in Supply Chain system

Ensure correct maintenance and preservation is undertaken for stored materials & equipment

Coordinate marshalling and issue of materials aligned to job cards and project schedule

Assure material deliveries aligned to boat sailing schedules

Identification and disposal of surplus materials

Understands and lives Woods vision, values and behaviours.

Other tasks as directed by line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

Educated to ISCED Level 2 (Lower Secondary)

Record of skills training appropriate for job specific role

Fork Lift Licence / experience


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


Job specific experience:

Materials / logistics experience demonstrating results.


Varied and detailed work experience in the industry which would allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principles.


Knowledge of:

Previous use of ERP's such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP.

Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of tools.


Personal Attributes:

Good interpersonal skills.

Methodical in the processing of work activities / actions.

Adaptability and Problem Solving Skills


Ability to:

Coordinate activities & prioritise work load.

Work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Work independently to meet project / role objectives.
