We are a friendly, supportive, and innovative training GP Practice in inner city Bradford. Kensington Partnership is based over 4 sites located in BD8, BD7 and BD5. So, you would have the opportunity to work across all the sites for some diversity at times. We have a patient list size of approximately 24,000, delivering high quality care to our diverse group of patients.


We have a dedicated team of 6 GP Partners, GP Registrar and Foundation Year Doctor, ANP, ACP, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Receptionists and Administration teams.

With over 100 employees across all practices, we are a large, well established business.


Job Overview
We are looking to recruit for the post of Practice Operational & HR Lead to work at Kensington Partnership.


This role gives the exciting opportunity to work with a committed management team to shape the delivery of the day to operations of four GP Practices.

The role may require movement around the four Practices and working with a multi


Main Duties of the Job


You will work closely with all departments, clinical and non-clinical to support the operations of all four practices that form Kensington Partnership.

The role will include supporting the Practice Managers with the day to running of the practice. Including assistance with HR administration support, recruitment, appraisals and general administration.

As well as supporting the practice to achieving local and national targets, meeting contractual obligations, CQC requirements and NHS England policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • General administration support to the Practice Managers
  • Sending and responding to communication in relation the practice operations
  • Prepare agendas, reports, minutes, and presentations on behalf of the Management Team as required for meetings
  • Manage and coordinate diaries, organise internal and external meetings as required
  • Work to deadline for reports/ documentation preparation
  • Book and set up meeting rooms and telephone conferences
  • Update filing systems/ central records with attention to detail
  • Liaise with external companies on projects and raise awareness of health benefits initiatives
  • Contribute to effective information management within the team including collation, analysis, and reporting of data to support the practice
  • Logging complaints and tracking
  • Provide HR administrative support such as:
  • Advertise job roles
  • New staff paperwork, including CRB checks
  • Creating Induction schedules
  • Recording annual leave and sickness
  • Coordinating appraisals, return to work interviews and performance reviews
  • Maintaining HR records including mandatory training

Skills and Competencies

  • 5 A* C GCSE's including Maths and English or equivalent
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex information effectively to people
  • Excellent typing skills, experience of minute taking and documentation
  • Good organisational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to 100% accuracy
  • Ability to pick up new systems and process quickly
  • Highly motivated and has a commitment to provide a highquality service
  • Capable of working under own initiative with mínimal direct supervision

Essential Experience

  • Ability to travel across all 4 practices
  • Meet DBS standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Ability to recognise and work within limits of competence and seek advice when needed
  • High level of written and verbal communications skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good typing skills and use of outlook, word and excel
  • Knowledge of and ability to work to policies and procedures

Desirable Experience

  • Previous HR and recruitment experience
  • Familiar with HR legislations and UK employment laws
  • Experience of working with elderly, vulnerable people in a deprived background
  • Experience of working directly in a care coordinator role, adult health and social care
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies for children and vulnerable adults
  • Experience with Healthcare/ GP Practice
  • Systmone training

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour
