Due to our continued growth and development, OCU Group has a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing recruitment team.
Reporting to the Group Recruitment Manager, this is a part time hybrid/remoteposition for an experienced recruiter with a background in construction, civils or utilities.
The purpose of this role is to support the business in the sourcing and selection of senior hires for the business with a focus on direct sourcing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaising with Hiring Managers to get a full brief and job description.
- Ensuring the recruitment process is adhered to, reducing recruitment spend with external parties.
- Creating adverts for job boards and our careers page.
- CV sifting and short listing.
- Arranging and participate in selection interviews as required.
- Attending job fairs and promoting the business brand as required.
- Creating and negotiating offers with Hiring Managers and HR Team.
- Ensuring the smooth onboarding of new starters.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in resourcing is essential either in house or agency.
- Experience of recruiting/head hunting for senior roles ideally in a Construction/Civils/Utilities environment.
- Ability to withstand pressure, meet tight deadlines and work independently with good decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong IT skills including experience of an ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Experience of recruitment process implementation.
- Resilience.
