An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is dynamic & a positive team member that is also passionate about patient care?


We are looking for a Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate to join our existing teams working in a nurse-led satellite dialysis unit in Kingston upon Thames.

The dialysis unit is a 16 bed unit, operational over 3 patient shifts, 6 days a week.


We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated Registered Band 4 Nursing Associate, working closely with and under the direction of the existing nursing team that provide excellent outpatient haemodialysis to people living with renal failure, dialysing them geographically closer to their own home and away from the main hospital setting.


We are looking for someone who is adaptable, has a flexible can-do attitude with a passion for excellence & ability to work well both on their own & as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

  • Under the supervision of Sister/Charge Nurse you will be accountable for the total provision and direction of the nursing care for the patient under your care. You will implement specialised packages of nursing of care to patients as the named nurse.
  • You will ensure that care is patientfocused and that patient dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.
  • You will act under direction of the registered nurse in charge of the nursing team in setting standards and expectations in the quality of care. Take an active role in maintaining effective communication with all disciplines, patients and relatives. You will represent patients at multidisciplinary meetings ensuring that their needs are assertively presented. For example handover, discharge planning, attending case conferences, team referrals such as OT, physio, pain team, tissue viability, renal access and dietician
