Context:

The Church Engagement & Network team is responsible for developing our relationship with the local church across the UK, to serve and equip them in their mission to serve and include the poorest whilst confidently proclaiming Jesus, through effective partnership with CAP and other forms of engagement.


Purpose:

The Church Engagement & Network Support role exists to make a church's journey of partnership with CAP, and their ongoing experience of partnership, as smooth and effective as possible.

We do this by dealing with day to day queries from prospective churches and existing church partners.

As well as this we support managers within the Church Engagement & Network team make the most effective use of their time by ensuring the smooth and effective running of processes.

Responsibilities:


  • Processing and qualify inbound partnership enquiries through the CAP website and ensuring connection with the relevant Church Partnership Manager.
  • Be the first port of call for general queries from new and existing partner churches, Church Partnership Managers and Area Managers.
  • Reporting issues and feedback to Network Operations Manager
  • Provide advice and encourage best practice guidance for centres and churches in the absence of the Area Managers or Region Leaders.
  • Coordinating and facilitating CAP's Emergency Aid program, including authorisation of expense claims.
  • Signposting and liaising with internal departments to ensure the resolution of queries.
  • Ownership of Church Partnership paperwork process, launch talks, and payment for all new services.
  • Dealing with all enquiries for existing centres wanting to add or replace coaches.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the Church Engagement & Network team including completing expense claims.
  • Liaise with external print suppliers and Fuel Voucher providers to resolve delivery or supply queries from Network Staff.
  • Compiling and sending out information and updates to centre staff and Area Managers.
  • Distributing complaints in the absence of Complaint Manager
  • Collate stats and information as requested.
  • Provide administrative and organisational support for Church Partnership Managers and Network Leadership Team as they arise.

Measurable Outputs:

  • Smooth organisation of travel and accommodation.
  • Respond and book runthrough requests within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Ensuring all team meetings and commitments are kept up to date and in calendars at least a week in advance.
  • Planning of key events and booking of venues with as much notice as possible.
  • Ensuring complaints are distributed within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Dealing with administrative requests in a timely manner.
  • Tracking paperwork process for all new coaches and services to ensure relevant documents are received

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as well as use initiative
  • Ability to see through a project from start to finish
  • Ability to problem solve and driven to find solutions
  • A love for detail and excellence
  • Ability to work accurately, quickly, and with attention to detail whilst under pressure
  • Logical, articulate approach to work, prioritising workload efficiently
  • Confident computer user including Word, Excel and the internet
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Knowledge and understanding of CAP would be beneficial

Educational requirements:

GCSE Maths & English or equivalent qualification that indicates a good level of literacy and numeracy
