Trident, a leading Managed Service Provider in the South East, is seeking someone with a good eye for detail, and who wants to progress and develop their skillset as an Accounts Assistant.
As our company experiences rapid growth and looks towards future expansion, you will have the opportunity to help shape the Accounts Department.
**The Role: The Accounts Assistant works within the Finance Division, offering direct support to the Finance Director and assisting with Trident's day to day financial matters. To be successful in this role, there needs to be consistent demonstration of excellent administration and organisational skills, with a natural flare for accuracy and detail.**The Responsibilities: - Matching supplier invoices and adding to accounting software including assigning the correct nominal codes
- Raising and sending customer invoices
- Managing the accounts mailbox and responding to queries
- Managing recurring service invoices
- Aged debt chasing
- Facilitating supplier payments
- Bank reconciliation
- Assisting in direct debit collections including sending out advance notices
- Credit card reconciliations
- Scanning, filing and logging account documents
- Assisting with payroll
- Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and suppliers as needed
- Working Hours Mon-Fri
- 25 days annual leave per annum (increased 1 day per every year of service up to 32 days) + bank holidays
