Description
This role is based in the UK on a homeworking contract or based in our London office. Christian Aid is currently trialing a hybrid working model and you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week with the option to work remotely for the remaining 3 days per week.
The salary quoted is for remote working but if based in our London office, the salary will be £40,724.

About the role
This role forms a key part of the International Programme Operations Team (IPOT).
Alongside the other Officers in IPOT, it ensures that humanitarian and development programmes globally have adequate capacity to meet Christian Aid programme quality standards and related minimum requirements.
The role provides support to country and regional programmes on all aspects of the project/programme cycle, from design and fund procurement, to financial management of projects and programmes, to compliance with Christian Aid standards, policies and codes of conduct, to risk management, to monitoring and evaluation, reporting and closure.
The role holder will support programme teams in the use of programme information management systems (sharepoint, iPIMS etc), and will contribute to performance management.
Where needed, the role will provide additional surge capacity in country, especially in humanitarian responses.About you
A proactive self-starter with the ability to work on initiative, you have experience in CA's humanitarian and development programming including project cycle management and programme systems.
You will be based in any office globally where CA works and will have the ability to surge to countries (where necessary) up to 75 days per year.
French language skills are desirable but not essential.Further information
