Bookkeeper required for a position with one of our well-established clients in Melbourne, This particular company are well known locally and nationally.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support MD with any financial data or report requests analyse costs, pricing, variables, and sales results to monitor performance and highlight improvement areas etc.
  • Manage finance assistant.
  • Implement, develop and improve robust financial policies.
  • Produce and monitor annual budgets.
  • Produce and monitor business cashflows.
  • Participate in weekly production meeting.
  • Produce WIP report.
  • Prepare weekly flash report.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare documentation / presentation for shareholder meetings.
  • Reconcile balance sheets.
  • Reconcile and maintain factoring facility.
  • Reconcile bank and cash accounts.
  • Reconcile customer & supplier accounts.
  • Complete VAT returns.
  • HMRC management.
  • Review supplier payments.
  • Raise and issue invoices.
  • Process customer purchase orders via Sage and our internal system.
  • Interaction with European subsidiary.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proven record of demonstrating a proactive approach.
  • Experienced bookkeeper
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office outlook, word, excel, power point, Sage.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£19,805.00-£22,500.00 per year

Experience:


  • Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
