Description
Hostsmart is a holiday rental company with head offices in Henley-On-Thames. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our small team on a part time basisResponsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and making payments
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare tax documents and work closely with tax professionals for timely filing
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Prepare clients monthly statements
- Contractors payment run
- Preparing and filing VAT returns
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with governmental accounting
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
£21,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
