The role will include:


  • Helping to win new projects by assisting with/writing proposals and pitching. This will include coming up with imaginative design ideas, usually in a brainstorming forum
  • Managing adhoc research projects including development of project spec, client liaison, design of research materials, communication with team members, scheduling and leading on analysis and reporting also moderating Zoom/Teams depth interviews andoccasionally groups with respondents around the world (in English)
  • Supporting on other research projects supporting project lead by doing share of fieldwork/moderation, contributing to analysis, story development and debrief
  • Presenting to the client both pitching and project debriefs
  • For qualitative studies, most of our work is done in English, but we work closely with a team of Asian moderators for work in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore. Depending on the size and type/objectives of the project, we would outsource moderation only andcarry out analysis from English transcriptions, whilst others will be outsourcing moderation as well as analysis and interpretation.

- including working towards financial targets, building the team, putting in place appropriate support, complying with our clients' standards/audits/project management/admin requirements etc. Over the course of the next yearor so, we also expect to grow considerably from companies within the Life Sciences sector.

In the medium term, the role offers scope for progression. They are ultimately looking for someone who can become the lead director on this account over time.


Skills & Experience

  • Educated to BSc in a life science discipline
  • Previous experience in market research, marketing, sales, business development or other commercial/client facing role
  • A passion for research. Enjoys keeping up with the latest thinking, reads widely. Enjoys variety, high level of curiosity
  • Equally comfortable in classic and online research methods (including online qual)
  • On the qualitative side, experienced in running depth interviews, focus groups, and online qual projects, particularly in a B2B context _training can be provided_
  • Overall, experienced and confident in managing/leading projects from brief to design, fieldwork and analysis and reporting/presentations (with guidance and support from others)
  • Strong analysis and interpretative skills confident to bring new perspective/point of view to the table
  • A track record in building a significant client account
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and client handling skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • A creative thinker always pushing to think of new and interesting ways to solve client problems
  • Ability to work as part of a confident, busy, demanding (but friendly) team selfstarting, confident, collaborative
  • A cando attitude and a drive to succeed energetic, dynamic and ambitious
  • A track record in working with 'big brands' and sophisticated clients.
