Description

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking team player to lead the older adult integrated community mental health team in the Health and Social Care Partnership, Falkirk.

The team provide mental health assessment, treatment and specialist mental health care across and the post will be based at Falkirk Community Hospital.

The post holder will be integral to delivering a person centred, sustainable and high quality service.

This exciting post requires effective professional leadership and a clinical expertise to support the team to deliver care and treatment to those older adults living in our communities and experiencing mental ill health.

The post holder will be a registered mental health nurse with significant post registration experience and can demonstrate continued professional development.

Experience working at band 6 level and/or working in a community mental health setting would be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of managing change are essential. Evidence of leadership and managerial development training should have been attained to support this post.

Enthusiasm and motivation to develop and maintain good practice and foster good relationships across our community services other agencies is essential.

The ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
