Java Software Engineer -Reducing Carbon Emissions

Salary:
£60,000-£80,000

Hybrid working: 1-2 days on-site per week

We have just started working with a modern tech company who specialise in using the latest tools and ways of working to produce data centric products for businesses in the Oil/Gas, Metal/Mining and Agriculture industries with the goal to help them tracktheir greenhouse gas emissions.

After a really successful year in what is a rapidly expanding space, we are on the hunt for more Java Software Engineers to help expand on pre-existing and new products to help contribute towards saving the planet.

As a Java Software Engineer you will:_
Work across multiple projects varying in size and domain
Produce clean, readable and reliable code with a real emphasis on quality over quality
Take key responsibility for the teams services and the tech behind the platforms
Play a key role in technical decisions and in bringing new ideas to the table
Some of the many tech and tools you will have the honour of working with include:_
Java
Kotlin
Spring/Spring Boot
Python
Django
Java

Script

Angular
PostgresSQL
Cognito, Redis and other cloudbased infrastructures
