We now have an excellent opportunity for a motivated
Accounts Assistant, with a minimum of 2 years' experience, to join the fast-paced team in Leeds.


The position:


  • Permanent, fulltime
  • 37.5 hours per week

Main duties:


  • Daily Purchase Ledger, including uploading to Lightyear, sending out for authorisation and importing to Sage.
  • To carry out weekly BACS preparation, including the allocation of payments in Sage, uploading payments to the bank, and sending remittances.
  • To carry out bank reconciliations.
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations weekly/monthly and ensuring a full ledger reconciliation quarterly.
  • To monitor the Accounts inbox, dealing with or redirecting queries as necessary.
  • To answer, handle and direct customer and staff queries via telephone.
  • To take responsibility for organising and franking daily post.
  • To manage credit card payments, including Precision Pay & commercials card (using Xero).
  • To carry out POA reports to ensure all credit balances are matched off for Month End.
  • Knowledge of SAGE (desirable)
