ABOUT THE ROLE


A specialist school, based in Nursling, Southampton is currently looking for Teaching Assistants to support students on a one-to-one (1:1) and small group basis alongside other Teaching Assistants and experienced and skilled Teachers.

Contract Type: Full-time (Mon to Fri, 8:30 - 15:30) (Term-time only)

Contract Start: September Start

Salary:
£ £85.00 per day (PAYE)

Location: Nursling, Hampshire


Teaching Assistant - Desirable Qualities:


  • Experience supporting Mental Health difficulties, e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, and other Special Needs (SEN).
  • Experience working in a childcare/care setting
  • Have good knowledge and experience in positive behaviour management
  • Be resilient, patient and have a sense of humour
  • Have the interest and desire to pursue a career in education/counselling/therapy
  • Be optimistic, dynamic and be proactive
