Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. The role comes with an additional Channel Islands allowance of £5,164 pa.

And now we're looking for a multi-media journalist to join our creative team.


Main Responsibilities:


This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of radio bulletins and programmes - you'll contribute engaging programme ideas, research guests and topics, and there will be the opportunity to undertake some on-air work reading news bulletins and reporting.


You'll deliver programme production duties, updating BBC Sounds programme information, recording and editing multi-track audio and developing stories to be used across all platforms.

You'll also operate a variety of broadcast equipment including the on-air studios, our production desk, and our broadcast vehicles. You may work on weekdays and at weekends including early mornings.


You will work across a range of news-reading and radio production shifts - including early mornings and weekends - as part of a small multi-skilled team creating great audio, digital and TV output.
