In this varied role you will enable the fulfilment of materials for orders and finished goods for customer orders against tight schedules.

Flexibility and good communication skills are essential, together with a passion for detail in an ever changing time critical supply chain.

This post is full-time, although other working patterns could be possible


Job Purpose

To be a key member within the warehouse team of a fast-paced environment that delivers a high quality and efficient service to the Power tool industry.

We require warehouse operatives to help the company achieve its target and meet the demand within the marketplace.


Key Accountabilities

• Take responsibility for goods in, goods received.
• Sorting and placing stock into racks/ shelves.
• Stock management and accountability.
• Picking, packing and despatching of goods to a high standard to safeguard missing items and minimise risk of damage in transit.
• Load goods onto trucks for distribution
• Handle back orders effectively and distribute in a timely manner

Key Skills and Behaviours

• Warehouse experience highly advantageous
• Forklift driving licence advantageous
• Confident IT Skills computerised stock management system
• Attention to detail
• H&S knowledge within a warehouse
• Selfmotivated with a dedicated approach
• Have an ability to work as part of a team and also as an individual when required, and to use your own initiative.
