Description

Accurately coding, checking authorization & posting supplier invoices onto Microsoft Dynamics 365 using the pre-determined and agreed standardized posting systems.


  • Review and verify London staff expense claims to ensure adherence to company policy and post to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
  • Set up fortnightly payment runs and follow up to ensure payments are processed on time. Respond to all payment/invoice queries from staff and suppliers.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assist with journal postings at month end as required. These include credit cards, staff expenses and petty cash
  • Work interchangeably with the other AP Assistants to ensure supplier and staff payments are processed on time. Also, provide cover for all invoice issues when required.
  • To work on banking and other reconciliations where required and provide auditors with information
  • Assist with daily reconciliation of multicurrency bank accounts and posting of incoming/outgoing transactions on the accounting system.
  • Assist with reconciliation & query resolution of creditor ledgers
  • Support overseas subsidiaries with training, general accounting and bookkeeping duties.

Requirements:


  • Good accounting skills including knowledge of double entry, reconciliation work and accounts payable ledger bookkeeping skills.
  • At least 2 years' experience in accounts payable. An understanding of cashbook and sales ledger function would be ideal but not essential.
  • Experience of working in a multicurrency finance department would be beneficial.
  • To be able to process large amounts of data quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAGE systems is desirable
  • Excel intermediate is essential.
